Florence Freitag is a performer/dancer, voice/video artist, author & curator and works significantly in and on community. Alone and with collaborators, Florence practices embodied thinking & listening and reflects in her "compostist practices" sensory and sensual ways of being in the world. Her voice work focuses on inner and outer landscapes in collaboration with Federica Sosta, Lisa Stewart, Zorka Wollny/The Psychedelic Choir, Ashley Fure & Lilleth Glimcher, among others. Florence is part of the queer feminist collective Altes Finanzamt e.V. in Berlin, the transatlanticbirdscrew with Camille Jemelen, and co-founder of the TanzRaumGörlitz and the Neisse Center for Contemporary Arts e.V. Since 2014 Florence has been collaborating with Rosalind Masson, and together they curated the first TanzTage Görlitz in September 2020. In November and December 2020 she co-curated the project "music for the not yet", made possible by Musicboard Berlin.
